Our program sheds light on the importance of adopting a trauma-informed approach when working with the military population. We aim to acknowledge their unique experiences and needs, providing you with the necessary knowledge and skills to create safe, supportive, and empowering yoga and mindfulness practices for both active duty and veteran Armed Forces.

Yoga and mindfulness offer powerful resources for active duty military and veterans in their healing journey. These practices provide tools to cultivate resilience, regulate the nervous system, manage stress, and promote overall well-being.

By incorporating trauma-informed principles, instructors can create a space where military personnel feel validated, understood, and supported on their path to healing.

Our training curriculum covers a wide range of essential topics for understanding and implementing Trauma-Informed Military Yoga. Participants will:

  • Gain insights into the specific mental health challenges faced by the military population and how trauma impacts their lives.

  • Delve into practical aspects, including trauma-informed yoga language, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices tailored to address the unique needs of the military.
